Of course having said that, I like our chances tonight if we score early and we are at home. Bears by 3.

well our offense kept our defense off the field long enough to win it.

Our D sucks, but I will say, they don't need to be the Bears D of old, with the weapons we have on O....they just need to hold their own. They sucked again tonight, overall, but I will say that they did make a couple of big stops, particularly the 3 and out, after Dallas had returned the kick to midfield. That might have been the biggest series on either side of the ball, all night.

Meh... that was huge, no doubt.

However, IMO, the biggest play of the game was the dropped pass by Witten on (I think it was 2nd down) to stall the Cowboys drive, and give the Bears a crack at getting more points. Which resulted in the Jeffery TD. Prior to that drop, it absolutely appeared Dallas would go down the field and get some points.

The Hester return was pretty big to. Punt went to the 10, and he took it for 30 yards. Allowed the Bears to set up shop at the 40 yard line.

Both defenses are terrible, but i think the Bears receivers have the biggest mismatch against the much smaller and less athletic corners of dallas. I think Marshal and Jeffrey go off early and open things up for Forte later. Score fest with Bear eeking one out at the end.

Just hoping I had some influence on your $25 win on the over. If I had bigger balls would have put a couple 100s, But instead only put 50. But I'll take it . Go Bears.

Should be a offensive game so Bears 7 Dallas 3. But Bears own Dallas in Dallas and Dallas owns us in Chicago so Dallas 43 Bears 36. Hey whats the over/under on bone headed calls by Trestman anyway?

ZERO.:laugh3: I'd take the under

The time management at the end of the first half, where we kept passing and stopping the clock for Dallas to get 1:38 left with the ball was just horrible. Did no one but me get mad about that?

No... We were trying to put another TD on the board. I don't think you can revolve your offensive play calling around the fact that your defense stinks. If it was the end of the game that's one thing, but in that situation, you're just trying to put as many points on the board as you can.

Not to mention, they forced a Dallas punt. Which led to Alshon's TD. So it worked out.

We should have been thinking that we need to score and leave no time for Dallas, knowing we are getting the ball back after halftime. Instead we left them 1:38 and 3 time outs. Sorry Rich but we disagree. And Forte goes/fights his way out of bounds on 3thrd ?. That gave them 30 more seconds alone. Horrible final 2 minutes before the 1st half play calling wise. Strategy just not good. Because it worked out makes it no less disappointing.

I thought they should have run the ball at least once there before the kick to run the clock down to a minute. Wasnt pissed, just said it out loud.

I mean, it was just a non-issue in the course of the game. Ended up working in our favor.

It's really hard to be upset with anything Trestman did last night. His play calling was really good, and overall, he did a good job of managing the game. If that was indeed a blunder, I'll allow it.
