Wiercioch can fill in on the PP I think. Not sure he can handle 22+ minutes like Gonchar did this year.

Cowen will be ready to play, hopefully, this year without having major hip surgery. Gryba is ideally a real solid third pairing guy.

The problem is that the Sens seem to be overloaded on the left side. Karlsson and Gryba are the only guys that naturally play the right side.

Methot (not going anywhere), Cowen (considered a cornerstone), Phillips (NMC I believe) and Wiercioch are all on the left.

The Sens could really use a mobile, puck mover type on the second pairing.

I think it's a great move by Nashville. Josi is a stud defenseman. There's a reason why he was paired with Weber last season. The kid can play.
