Not going to blame this series on just Lehtonen and Niemi because the whole defense has stunk but I still don't think either of those guys are going to lead you to a championship. I hope they invest in getting a shutdown goalie in the off-season, other than that, they seem like they are pretty close.

The only issue is they have both tied up for 2 more years.
Unless they get a dumb GM to take one on that might be the goalies next year.

Buying both out will cost between $3-4 million/yr for the next three seasons, then $1.8 mil for the season after.

Honestly, that's their best option right now.
