Legend is a little strong LOL. Staubach is a Legend. Danny White is not. Romo is Danny White, which isn't an insult

I think legend man. If you get in R.O. H.- that's legend status IMO. Now maybe not to a Steeler fan or Skin fan, but to a Cowboys fan that's a big deal to this one anyway

Check your fucking tone with me you Romo blowhard. I didn't even really address you at all. I was making a general statement. If I was talking directely to you, you would fucking know it because I would have quoted you.

Well your general statement was some really dumb shit.

ah no........talk about generalizations.......that's lame
If anything, White has a slightly better resume. How many NFC Championship games did White lead the Cowboys to? Losing to Joe Montana by a whole point, losing to the greatest team the Redskins have ever fielded. Check your history Pal

Dumb? Why? Because I think a back up QB should be treated as a fucking back up if we rest our starters in Week 17?

Yeah but see, I was talking about Week 17 from the get go. I never mentioned anything about the home game in Week 16. So I was in no way addressing you yet you went and attacked me.

If the Steelers take care of the Giants today, and I believe they will, Dallas could wrap up the division next weekend in NY. Think about that....WOW. If that scenario held, I could see Romo getting a last drive swan song in the week 16 home game and playing most of week 17

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett left no doubt Monday that Dak Prescott will remain the starting quarterback over Tony Romo.

"You can make it as simple or complex as you want to make it," Garrett said. "It's pretty simple for us. Dak's going to play quarterback as we go forward." Jerry Jones said the same thing after Sunday night's loss to the Giants. Truth is, the Cowboys just played two of the toughest defenses in the league in road games back to back. Dak does get another tough matchup against the surging Bucs defense in Week 15, but we would expect him to bounce back for a strong game.

Yep, it would be pretty absurd to take Dak out at this point in the season unless he gets hurt, or is having just a terrible 4 interception game. Losing by 3 at the NYG isn't a crime. I think he has a big game today

I think Dak is the starter for the rest of the year sans injury and should be. Even with a couple of bad games he is playing as well as Romo ever has and has earned the job. We are 11-2 in large part because of Dak. But, I also have no problem with bringing Romo in if Dak is struggling mid game and Garrett thinks it could give them a little spark. We have 2 good QBs, I'm not panicking if we try to use both of them and don't think it threatens Dak's job. But I'm also fine with Romo never seeing the field even if Dak struggles. It's just not a huge issue to me and I'm fine with however Garrett wants to play it. I think Dak is pretty thick skinned

On last weeks game I think it is all overblown. It was a crummy night to be playing Football. If Church doesn't whiff on OBJ or if Butler comes down with that catch or maybe even if Bailey gets an extra 6 inches on that FG this is all a non-issue even with all of our troubles. I don't think Eli played much better than Dak. I just think his weapon is much more explosive and made the game breaking play. Our WRs just need to do a better job of getting open on their "hot reads" to make these teams pay for bringing pressure.

All that being said I expect Dak to be back over 100 in QB rating and have a real good game. I still love this kid and think he is our best chance for a deep playoff run.

Dak has shown enough for the club to go all in on him for the next few years. Most NFL guys get better after their rookie seasons, very few regress, unless they have injury issues. For the money they are paying him, he will be the best value player in the league until his deal runs out. A starting NFL QB with a 100 passer rating making 4th round money? Yeah, that doesn't hurt the cause

Dak without question has earned the spot but I don't agree that Dak is playing as well as Romo ever has.
In his best years I would say Romo's production was better. But that is really irrelevant.

All that matters is the starter is playing great. I'm glad (to a degree) we are not waltzing into the playoffs with a winning streak. There are too many kids on this team that are still learning. And there is no better teacher then losing. Maybe they can learn some hard lessons now instead of the playoffs.

Go Cowboys!

I'm just asking for one snap in one of these next two games. He deserves that IMO.
