It doesn't change that I wouldn't mind the Broncos drafting him. It does change maybe when I would draft him. Making such a critical mistake so close to the draft is not exactly the intelligence you want shown by your players. Then again Elway has done incredible work taking some guys with some red flags especially right before the draft. I just would rather see him as a 3rd round pick guy instead of 2nd round.

Agree - First time for Dak. Im not that concerned.

I see all the sunsine for Wentz but I have cooled on him ..hope he keeps the press excited about him ..

Paxton Lynch all the way for me . because we will never get close to Jared Geoff .

I am sure we can Draft Lynch and we should not have to trade up much..

That wind up of Prescott is bad juju

Tebow is a very bad comparison to Dak.

I've seen it said before, but it is really bad comparison.

I've watched Dak most of his last two years as he was my fantasy stud college QB. After his JR year I'd have said he was a 5th,6th round prospect as a passer.

He improved his passing mechanics by 10 times this year.. He came along way. Was always a great runner, but he became a pretty good passer this year. He has some limitations and I don't eve see him being a "Star" QB, but I think he can be a good QB at the NFL level. He won't be ready to start as a rookie, but he is well above Tebow on mechanics.

Yeah look at tape this year and not last year.

If you watched Dak this year you won't see much of a comparison to Tebow. If you are using that comparison you're reading what someone else has said or you didn't watch him this year. Sure he is stocky like Tebow and played in a similar situation, but go back to tape and the SR bowl. His motion is nothing like Tebow and he can sling it.

Too bad he couldnt do a grad transfer and go to wisconsin for a year like wilson lol

cuz he might have gone round 1 after a year in a pro style system.

Jared Geoff is the only QB I would pay for with a kings ransom

If Clady doesn't take a paycut OT is very much in play for us early.

See what happens. Right now DE/OL/RB/QB and all look like possible early picks. Young depth S and a WR possible mid rounds.

Not sure what we will do at TE right now. A lot of people think we draft one early. I do not. Heuerman went rd 3 last year, we probably sign a vet like Chandler or Garrett Graham. Draft someone like Griswold, Hemingway or whoever later on. I love Tyler Higbee as well.

A lot of people trashing Goff lately, but I like him a ton. He has great tools, like any QB needs work to get there, but he'd be a QB coaches dream.

Another difference between Tebow and Prescott? Tebow would never get a DUI.

I think DE and OT might be sweet spots for the 31st pick - they are more likely.

Clady's agent is the same as Ware's agent - I think that gets done, but the Broncos really can't sign Clady and think they are done with his injury history.

I'm pretty sure Kaepernick is the plan at QB still, but a trade for Glennon would be about $10 million more cap friendly.

I read he also improved his reads and progressions. Is this true as well?

Well, Elway is not afraid of a few off the field concerns. I doubt the DUI dissuades the broncos if they have the interest.

Yeah and I don't wannt downplay a DUI, and I know it is pretty critical in the months before the draft in determining decision making, but it is just one DUI... Learn from it and hopefully it makes him think twice next time when he is slinging passes for us. Rather it happen now and learn then during his NFL career.

The coaches at the Senior Bowl said he was the most impressive QB when it came to making reads.

I'd claim his decision making was the best from any QB maybe outside of Wentz who are listed as the top 10 QB's in this years draft. Wentz also didn't play against the top defenses in the country like Prescott did.
