Lolz...
I puked on the way home, and called out sick the next day. I actually passed out at the bar, which was tremendously embarrasing because I went there all the time after work, and the staff were all irish folks that lived in Sunnyside and we drank together when they weren't working. Part of the reason I drank as many that night was because the bartender gave me a couple on the house.
"Focking Scot...cannah hold yer Guinness? Get the fock off me bar...Ay-vonne, get him a gloss a-water and heave his arse oot."
I never lived it down.
"SEX focking pints?!? Wha, is yer belly made-a butter?"
Slip you a few freebies, get a huge tip, your dead meat. Gotta love Irish pubs
Didnt realize Scots were such lightweights
They never did that to me again afterwards, they just gave me shit for being such a lt-wt. It was like reverse-Norm walking into Cheers.
Yeah these guys and girls were classic. I loved hanging with them. And I always tipped them well.

Who is the Face of Baseball? We surveyed you -- the fans - ESPN
What is this sport coming too. A-Rod is the "Face of Baseball" in recent survey of 1,000 people.
Basically you were the Frazier of the group
Got done in by a few Irish pubs myself. Got a little bit of Iroquois in me (from back in the early 1800s). You know what they say about Indians & 'fire water'... Well its all true - even if its far removed
That must be my problem as well...1/16 Cherokee.
Okay, I have a question maybe you guys can answer. Why is it everyone claims to be 1/16th Indian?
When I went to school, to a kid, not one single kid didn't claim to be 1/16th Indian.
There were like a total of 30,000 Cherokee Indians, it was a social death sentence to cohabitate with them and they've been extinct since the late 1800's but everyone claims to be part Cherokee?
How is that?

Wait, would that make me 1/16, or 1/32? Grandma would have been half...mom would have been 1/8...that makes me 1/16, right?
My dad's family has been in this country since the 1780's, so we've got a little bit of everything in our blood.
Wow going by that Im maybe only 1/64th
My dads family is 3rd generation Mayflower (yeh I know...big whooop LOL)

I'd ask stuff like "So your Irish Great Grandfathers all went to a reservation and married Indian women when interracial marriage was actually illegal?"
Never got an answer.
