Yeah, at least Vandy is #1 in some polls. But I had high hopes after beating #2 LSU last week. I thought maybe we were hitting that late season groove we've had the last few years.

I guess there is some truth into the assumption that many pollsters are SEC biased. Right now UNC is the most impressive team in the country at 41-4 and that should be rather obvious, in my humble opinion.

Not really "obvious." Vandy has a slightly better conference record (21-2 vs. 19-3) and UNC has a slightly better overall (42-4 vs. 41-6). It wouldn't be hard to argue for either as most impressive (especially with Vandy just beating the Gamecocks).

Take a good long look at the list of opponents UNC has beaten. We haven't exactly been playing a bunch of scrubs.

Anyway, it really doesn't matter very much right now. When it matters is when the season is over and it is obvious who wins the title. We shall surely see.

Tigers take the first game of the double header against Maryland, 3-2. And we are taking the turtles to the woodshed in the second game. It's 7-0 going to the bottom of the 5th.
