In truth a 16 team league makes it hard to do trades involving studs period, obviously not impossible but the results often leave the team who acquired the stud completely hamstrung and I speak from experience on that point.

I traded 2 early firsts (1.05 and 1.06 I think, or maybe 1.04 and 1.05) and an early 2nd for Tyreek a few seasons ago here. I'm sure some thought that was an overpay in the moment, some might still think it was, but it was the beginning of turning my team around in this league.

If you're only giving up draft capital it's much less debilitating than giving up players + significant draft capital to fill 1 spot.

Well, think of it this way: How many potential All Pro QBs (or other position players, for that matter) have made a successful transition?

Well he'd be the first that I'm aware of, which is impressive for him. Not worth a damn thing to my D2 roster though

Personally, I was speaking specifically as to as QB doing it at all.
No one did it better than Bo though, all due respect to Prime Time
