I'd actually be a bit more concerned that the Chiefs can't land a viable WR2 opposite Hill, or at least according to the rumors, that they've struck out on the offers they made this FA window.

Looks to be another deep class for WR here, a few potential X types and a lot of situational/slot types, both of which would do well as the 3rd option in the passing game for Mahomes
Behind Kelce and Hill, and other WR2 is really just a WR3 in the KC offense imo.

sure, but a KC WR3 is still better than most WR2s
Nice to hear from the milkman!
I see Jeff gave Milk the bullseye.
Well i respectfully disagree by a lot.
Can't even recall the last time i had a KC WR2 i was targeting in a fantasy draft.

Hardman is going to bust out. (Yes, I am still on that).

Watkins/Hardman/Robinson
2020: 176 targets, 123 receptions
2019: 186 targets, 110 receptions

there's definitely room for another KC WR to be very relevant for fantasy if they could find a real one, especially considering Mahomes consistent 66% completion rate. If one of those guys could secure 100 of those targets, I'd love to have a KC WR getting 60-70rec as a flex play or WR4 on my fantasy team

@TKOSpikes - I almost tagged you to see if you were still on that train! Still think Hardman was an overreaction to Tyreek's domestic issues when KC drafted him, but also willing to give him another shot if they don't add anyone now that Watkins is gone

The numbers are solid.
But the WR2 is not.
Dont see that changing anytime soon.

Forget WR2, they need offensive line help, and a lot of it.

I’d like to see his numbers in games with 4+ targets. Electric monster.

Maybe there’s real football stuff to overcome (I don’t see it), but Andy has got to get that kid on the field and get him the ball.

Hardman
2019
Wk 2- 6 targets, 4 catches, 60 yards,TD
Wk 3- 5 targets, 2 catches 97yds, TD
wk 4- 5 targets, 2 catches 9 yds
Wk 5- 6 targets, 4 catches, 79yds
Wk 6- 4 targets, 4 catches, 45yds
Wk 7- 4 targets 2 catches, 13 yds
2020
Wk 3- 6, 4, 81, 1
Wk 4- 4, 4, 27, 1
Wk 8- 9, 7, 96, 1
Wk 9- 4, 3, 48
Wk 11- 5, 3, 23
Wk 15- 9, 3, 22, 1
Wk 16- 6, 3, 24.

He's still a work in progress at the finer points of being a WR, and not just outrunning coverage to get his separation.

damn... knew I should have went with 5 targets! :)

I’d still like to see more effort at getting him the ball. Deebo-like.

Though I do cede the point, I find it hard to believe he can’t wiggle short routes.

Same here. Here's the trade:

View attachment 268658

I wanted to get younger at WR. Hoping the Cowboys either trade Cooper or trade Gallup, but even if neither happens Gallup shows some talent.
Gallup will be a UFA end of this season, Cooper has a big "out" end of the season (and they could always restructure/extend too I suppose). if they don't trade Gallup by draft day, one of the two will be elsewhere in '22 regardless.
I think it'll come down to what they see out of Lamb. Is he going to continue to develop into a bona-fide #1? If so, Cooper makes the most sense to let walk/trade. If he's better suited to be that #2, Gallup walks

I traded to get Gallup in my other dynasty league at the end of last season (for Sterling Sharp).
I wonder if Gallup will live up to his promise?

Think if the Boys part with Cooper, then Gallup will live up to his promise. For Sterling Sharp?
