Still waiting a return visit after that ass whopping, pussy.

And everyone knows that has had the most charmin soft OOC schedule for decades. While UCF plays real OOC road games.

#UCFacts

I too usually refer to a 2 point win where my team was outgained in total yards an ass whooping, when it also coincides with one of the worst seasons in the last 20 years.

That's how oddsmaking works . Like it or not NDSU is considered a top 40 program currently and if you value on field results I think they've won 6 or 7 straight vs fbs teams . Of course most FCS programs aren't NDSU but it's disingenuous to think the top 5 programs in FCS are worse than most every G5 and some P5 especially on a one game basis

It's really hard to evaluate NDSU when they only play P5 every so often. It's one thing to beat a team in one game, another to go through the grind of a full B1G season (or SEC, or B12).

But with that said, NDSU has proved for one game it can hang with P5 teams

You lost to a 4 year program at homecoming. UCF has had transformative changes since then. Bama, not so much.

#UCFacts

I'm not a fan of Alabama but either way I'm not a player or coach so I did not lose to anybody. I was just pointing out how stupid you sound when you say it was an ass whooping, but reading comprehension is tough stuff when you go to a "college" like Central Florida

But it was against the defenseless Big XII and slow Big 10 teams.

UCF lost to a Tommy Bowden coached Clemson team. That alone discounts you as elite.

Having 2 winless seasons since then is certainly transformative.

If you’re really lucky, you’ll never get a rematch.

Half of the SEC, ACC, and BIG 12 would blow past NDSU on their "good" days. Too much speed, size, and talent.

Make that half the ACC Atlantic (and the Big 10 east); no so much the ACC Coastal.

Yeah, but Alabama was pretty rudderless in the years between Gene Stallings's retirement and Nick Saban's hire. They even lost to teams like Louisiana-Monroe, La. Tech and Northern Illinois. Sure, it was a big accomplishment for UCF, but it was just another low point in several season's worth of bad football for Alabama.

The Knights have made huge strides in the past three years, but they are nowhere near the dominance that Alabama enjoys.

Not only that, but Central Florida is just 3-6 against Troy - a team that has a losing record against my alma mater, Andalusia High School.

I agree with that. I'd say between 5-7 ACC schools would annually run through NDSU while the others would struggle/get beaten.

Clemson could do it, Syracuse could do it; maybe Boston College and/or NC State. Once they get back up to speed, Miami and FSU could do it. Not too much confidence in the rest of the conference.

So we're basically in the same boat. Around 5-7 teams. Louisville when they're clickin would also just blow through NDSU with their speed
