Tomas got an out in his contract that lets him opt out after four years and become an RFA. I don't blame Ruben for not doing that deal.

I would gladly take him for 4 years. At a cost of 46.5 million. Plus Amaro never made him an offer so it is all moot!

I agree completely. Not only that, the opt out clause can work for the team's benefit as well. Less risk. There is no guarantee that he will live up to his hype. Too bad Ryne Howard didn't have an opt out clause in his contract!
