• Patriots waived RB J.J. Taylor.​

  Taylor bulked up this offseason, but looked noticeably slower in the preseason. This likely means that Pierre Strong will be the main receiving-down threat to Rhamondre Stevenson barring an external addition. Taylor, 24, could field some calls from teams looking to add a younger third-down back.

I looked at the 53 it's obvious to me youth is priority. Only take back I would ask for is Humphrey,

Those were my two biggest surprises. Figured Lil Jordan gave an option of playing TE in a pinch with the release of the other TEs?
