I thought that i read on here that Laughton made the team.

Yeah, sorry, that was the assumption I was going on - that Laughton was in and that it was Raffl and VandeVelde battling for the last spot.

Meltzer now thinks Laughton will probably be sent back to Juniors. I give up on speculating. We'll find out soon enough...

just sheds more light on the stupid 20 yr old minimum for the AHL.. laughton should play in the AHL this year, i think that's what would be best for him.. he's probably going to destroy the junior circuit this season.. if he does go back

Agreed. I don't think there's much he'll get out of another year in Juniors. Shame.

Yep but no use wasting a contract year if he's going to struggle in the nhl so nothing you can do.
