Seattle can win games with Wilson, but Wilson will not get you as many fantasy points as culter will

again, i just cant agree... defensive first teams tend to be running teams... especialy when they actaully have a RB who can handle it...

Well we should get an idea how it goes tonight.

I had to go with Cutler, I drafted him as my #1. When he gets hurt in a few weeks it will make my decision to start Wilson a lot easier. lol

Wilson had less than 200 yards passing and 2 td's. He should have had a few int's. He played poorly.

Cutler will beat those stats handily.

Who to start?

I drafted Cutler as my #1 QB this season but, the more I think about it, I think Wilson is the better option this week.

Thoughts?

even before last night I can't believe this question was being posed. :noidea:

Even though Wilson didn't set the world on fire he still put up 22 points in my league. Hopefully Cutler has a halfway decent game and doesn't score any less than that.

I checked my league points for Wilson in my leagues. In one league he did pretty good because that league gives alot of points for TDs. The other league, he didn't fare that well. He did what he needed to do to win. From a fantasy football perspective, more of the same. Alot of Lynch and the D. They didn't ask him to do alot. If the season continues this way, I would not expect alot Fantasy Football wise. He has to face all the NFC West teams. Lynch was the one player I wanted. I almost nabbed him with my second pick, the person before me drafted him. I almost had Forte and Lynch.

I figure it's gonna be pretty much two TDs and 200 yards for Wilson most of the year without much variation. Much like last year (I thought they'd unchain him then; I've given up on that). He'll still be a plenty good low-end QB1. If Cutler stays healthy they will probably end up with almost the same total FF points, but Cutler will have a ton of variation.

I've given up responding. . About one step away from ignoring all his stuff, seems like more than a few others have as well

No "points" are needed. Cutler is the vastly superior QB in reality and in fantasy football. There is literally no comparison and to discuss the subject any further is insulting and a waste of time.

With Marshall, Jeffrey, and Forte? I don't think so.

This comment is insane.

There are literally 0 intelligent football people out there who believe that Cutler is a better real life football player than Russel Wilson. The only reason that Cutler is ranked higher by many (not all) in fantasy is because of his weapons and because in many of Seattle's games, they are in clock killing mode for most of the second half. Chicago, on the other hand, needs to sling it around to keep up because their defense is poor.

You are right that further discussion is a waste of time, but wrong about pretty much everything else.

Look, all the stats are on kramer's side:

Completion %
Yards per attempt
TD ratio
Int ratio
Height
QB rating
Win %

...well, Height anyway.

I have Russell Wilson as my starting QB. I wouldn't even consider Cutler.
