Going to need a 5th WR. I wonder who they have their eye on out there.

Biggest surprise to me is cutting Reid after just trading for him like a week ago. Not earth shattering or anything, but there really weren't any other cuts that were unexpected in the least.

Didn't cost them anything as the pick would only convey if he made the roster.

Yeah. Picking up Sydney Jones quickly made Reid expendable.

For me the biggest surprise is keeping 3 QBs. I am guessing they like Mannion enough to hold onto him on the main roster for now and try to move him to the practice squad after the other teams are settled on back ups?

The domino effect from that is the persumably "open" roster spot that will need to be filled.
We still have multiple moves before the roster is fully set though.

The other surprise is keeping 5 running backs. Someone will probably be cut, traded, or sent to the practice squad at some point.

6. Even though Bellore is listed as a LB, he hasn't taken a LB snap in the last 3 years.

True. But he played LB in high school, college, and 6 years in the NFL before switching to FB. PC said he is a LB on this team, and Bellore himself said it is his natural position (or something along those lines).

It could also be that the new offense doesn't use a FB. Few do in the NFL these days. But Nick could always fill in there as necessary

Until he actually sees the field on defense in a meaningful game - I'll still look at him as the FB. I know he started 1 season with the 9ers, but only got 100 snaps the next year in Detroit before being converted to fullback. If he actually plays LB this year - great. I do kind've wish Rhattigan would've made the team - kind've liked him - hopefully he gets on the PS.

Seahawks claim 2 players from waivers:
Dakoda Shepley- OL from the 9ers
Nigel Warrior- DB from the Ravens

Not sure who gets moved to make space yet.

Also of note: Aaron Donkor gets an automatic spot on the practice squad due to the international entry program. So we will have 17 on the p.s. instead of 16.

Over the next week we could see a few players moving to the IR or PUP list, -opening up more roster spots... I doubt we're done filling the WR/TE position on the team...

With that said, J. Hollister was waived as well as P. Dorsett... I wouldn't be surprised to see Hollister picked up and added to our roster...

Guess not THAT much as the just released him and picked up Jake Luton.

Weird. Not sure why they kept Mannion in the first place if they were gonna drop him this easy. Guess they just really need an Oregon State guy on the roster or something.

The rumor is that the kept Mannion because of his knowledge of the offense vs Geno's experience on the team. I guess Geno won out, which I fully agree with after watching them both play.

OT- Cedric Ogbuehi to the IR.

He will be eligible to play again in week #4 if he is recovered from injury.

I just found that Dakoda Shepley played Omega Red in Deadpool 2!
