not for the money I would think he would want. Would rather go with an unproven guy than over spend on a Back up of his quality.

I doubt he gets any big money offers. He has shown at best to be a sometimes good QB. Meaning he looks like a life time BU QB. He has NFL talent just not enough talent to trust as a starter. Schaub will demand and get more. Schaub if we could afford him would be better for the team. He would be a guy that could push Tony. At the very least that should appease the haters.

Not for free. I said before his crash and burn this guy is NOT an NFL QB. IMO he sucks and his priorities are out of whack. He was in the perfect situation for a short while, but never did anything outside of the Pittsburgh playoff game.

Don't be shocked if we grab a QB at some point in this draft. I'd actually be all for it, just not in the first 3 or maybe even 4 rounds. You can always find a backup QB if you have your no doubt starter like we do. You don't have to love the guy, you just need to feel like he could play a couple games and give you a chance to win. Having a backup QB that is one of you top 10 or so cap hits when you have a cap problem is probably not a smart idea. I expect our next backup to be a draft pick or a much cheaper vet.

Id have no problems using a rook as the bu. Now what is Jerry's M.O.? As for Sanchez I think he will be very cheap. If he wants more than the minimum I say pass.

Agree. Moore will be cheap and yes he can start if needed. Id be ok with him too. Truth be told I forgot about him.
