Ironically Jr having a win had the opposite affect on him. Since points don't matter to him anymore, he fell back away from the pack on the final two restarts to save his car for the next plate race instead of trying to gain positions. Wonder if that is what Nascar had in mind when they made this ridiculous chase rules.
