Everyone needs to wait and see how this plays out. I'm certain he didn't post those pics on hi own, the girl most likely did so. Maybe he did beat her but it's quite possible she got beat by another just to frame Crowder.

Why the rush to judgement from some here?......Oh yeah, I forgot, guilty until proven otherwise.

Nobody is rushing to judgement, just concerned. In today's NFL if this happens to be true he is not going to be in our plans anytime soon and he was one of the best picks we made last draft.

Who proclaimed him guilty? But if you, as a Redskins fan, aren't concerned in today's environment where such allegations are taken very seriously, you are deluding yourself.

I'm not going to read the posts for you, and I'm not concerned at all, nor am I deluding myself. What I am doing is going against the NFL grain as we all should, and wait to see how things develop. There is absolutely no reason to take such a pessimistic stance based on an allegation, the news doesn't make you guilty. I don't care how big and powerful the NFL appears to some, there are laws in this country and a system based on due process. Let's support our guy and let that process play out!

BTW: in law all allegations are taken seriously, the environment can only convict in the court of public opinion, that unfortunately, is what you're alluding to when you write about today's enviorment. Just to be absolutely clear, this is my message to today's enviornment.............fuk 'em!

I've read them all. I didn't see one serious post say he was guilty. Almost all expressed concern but patience. That is all.

The NFL, and Godell, have proven they operate by their own rules. Examples abound of players being cleared in the eyes of the Law, but still punished by the league. Due process in the NFL is a fleeting and tempermental thing.

Serious post??? Really?? .........saying that due process in the NFL is a fleeting and temperamental thing is akin to saying that the Salem witch trials will last forever!!

And here in we see the real issue here. Over the past 20 years, we as a society have started to foster the idea of all women as victims that need to be protected from us abusive men. A woman can accuse a man of r*pe, assault or a multitude of other crimes and the man is automatically guilty. And even in cases where it was proven to be false, she can simply walk away with no repercussions.

If any one doubts this, I invite you to look into the John Wayne Bobbit case. Lorena cut his dick OFF because she was upset over him having an affair. But at the end of the day, the world was told that she did it because he abused her and she was clinically insane due to long term depression caused by his repeated abuse. I admit John was a dick, and they fought like MOST married couples do from time to time. But Lorena was no victim. And had John tried to kill HER for her infidelities, he would STILL be in prison. Lorena got off with a 45 day psych eval. And for those curious, I served with John... so yes I can say he was a dick.

You may want to read up a little more on John Wayne Bobbit. He may not have deserved to have his dick cut off but it really doesn't bother me that it happened either. He was an abusive piece of shit and his abuse continued with other women.

Not sure what this means but the fact is due process in the NFL right now is a fleeting and temperamental thing. Ask Sean Peyton. While it may change in the future, as your post implies, that doesn't change how it is now.

You might want to re read what I said. I dont need to read up on some one that I served in the Corps with to know he was screwed up. The difference in this case is, they were BOTH abusive. And Lorena didnt just get that way. She was no innocent victim here. She could have left at any time. What she did was meant to injure John. She was just smart enough to realize that if she played hurt and abused, she wouldnt go to jail for attempted Murder.

Hope there is a credible explanation for this.

Not enough details to know what's going on at this point.

If true... Wow and smdh:tsk:

I hope to hell this is BS. I can't tell you how utterly disappointing this would've if it were true. I question the timing of this all, but I'll wait for the truth to come out.

Lorena was most certainly a victim and you are blaming the victim for the abuse, which of course is the big problem in these cases. The victim often blames herself for the abuse as well, which is another big problem in these situation. To say she should have simply left again shows you don't know much about abuse cases.

If you served with John then you must excuse yourself as you are obviously biased.

I served with him, and I knew them both. I wouldnt say we were ace buddies. But we usually saw each other at some of the Marine Corps functions. And i never said I blamed her for how things eventually ended up. I am saying that she was not an INNOCENT victim in all this. I do find it rather sketch that things became unbearable for Lorena shortly after she got her citizenship. John deserved to get what he got, because he is a complete and utter asshole. I freely admit that, and would tell him to his face even now. But if Lorena was that tortured, she had plenty of chances to leave. While he was deployed in Kuwait would have been an optimal time. You do realize that shortly after their split, she was arrested for assaulting her mother right?? John likely deserved what he got, but she was no angel dude.

and here is the thing that makes it worse . is these women with bogus charges make it harder on women who have legit cases .

but yeah i do get tired of how the woman's side is automatically taken as gospel

Her story was so bugus it resulted in her getting off for cutting off a man's dick. That kind of tells me it wasn't bogus and he was an abusive asshole which caused her to finally snap.

Yep.. and OJ was innocent, Zimmerman killed a kid in self defense. I never said that the abuse wasnt there. There likely were some serious issues in that house. But reality is, she got away with attempted murder. She cut his dick off while he was passed out drunk, drove down the road and tossed it out the window. Not a course of action you just come up with on the fly. As my original statement said, this country has been slowly brainwashed to see women as victims in need of protection. And thus a woman can get away with a crime that would get a man locked away for life.
