Sly - if you need a GM who will ocassionally get fined for his statements or punch a reporter, I'm your guy. :)

Since no one else is playing along, I'll chip in to save Jeff's ass -

Center - Auto. Because insults and crosschecks roll off him like water on rock.

Left wing - Killer. Because, well, she's left wing?

Right wing - Dash. No hockey team is complete without an experienced Canadian leader.

Defense - Chief will play the role of Rafalski. He can't make up his mind whether he should be playing offense or defense.

Defense - The squirrel.

Goaltender - Eddie. We need a badass who enjoys inflicting pain on people who dare enter his crease.

The player who rarely sees any ice time and mostly sits near Darren Pang on the bench - IPW. Imagine the colorful comments we will hear on the air whenever Panger's mic is on. Duh. Winning.

Puck-BTM-Dash - 2 Canadian wingers who can (hopefully) score and a playmaker at center

Ritari-46 - I'm too damn slow on skates to play forward and 46 played D

43 - Isn't his Avy of a goalie? Works for me

HC: Boss - He'll kick their asses and make sure they are off his lawn at the same time
GM: Darkstone - Mastermind who'll find the players needed to win through the draft
Trainer: Pix - Self explanatory

RW- Eddie Shack, with his backyard rink I expect him to be a fast skater with tons of energy

C - Pixburgher66, she brings a ton of experience to the faceoff circle and is a good passer

LW- Automattic, not afraid to battle for the puck in the corner, decent hands

RD: KillerVee, fast moving offensive defensewoman

LD: Me, lumbering and slow but good moving the puck

Goalie: 43, local boy with occasional anger issues....works for me

Head Coach - Julian Steed, seems like a level headed logical choice

LW - Jeff, since he was an actual left wing, and since he started this thread, I figure this is where to put him.
C - Nazzy; tall dude, big reach, could wreak havoc in front of the net and be effective on defense as well.
RW - Eddie; no bull tough guy with a sense of humor, a nice balance to get the defensemen running for their lives without taking dumb penalties in the process.
D - 46&2; actual defenseman, still in good shape, tough and antagonizing (and a scientist to boot)
D - Auto; just look at his avatar.
G - 43; actual goalie who was apparently pretty good.
Coach - Boss; No-nonsense guy whose standards don't change for anyone
GM - I think I'd have to hire myself =P I did after all develop an equation for salary and production correlations and a goalie rating system that could be useful in the free agent market.
Trainer - Pix, of course.
Strength and conditioning - Hawaiian, because he seems to know what he's doing.
Owner - Dare; so he doesn't have to be relegated to linesman duty. ;)
