GB expected to have temps as low as NEGATIVE 20

Philly could get half a foot of snow.

Cincinnati up to 3 inchs.

Will make for some interesting playoff games to be sure. I love snow football. Don't think it's good for determining the playoff winners, but it sure as hell is fun to watch.

If the SB ends up a snow bowl you can bet it will be the last SB thrown up north, at least for a long time. They have got away with a few northern games, but a full on snow game would likely be a nightmare for them.

I think this hurts the teams that are favored. I feel like the Niners would handle Greenbay on a neutral climate controlled field. However with it being that cold you never know what kinda of break or bounce can happen that will possibly swing the game.

The start of the Philly game temp will be at 14 degrees, sucks for the Saints. I think the start of the GB/SF game is going to be a brisk zero degrees. I hear good seats still available for that game.

They are saying the high will be -4 degrees. That's the HIGH!! Game starts at 4:00 local time so it will only get colder as the game progresses. I think that is advantage Packers.

Don't forget the wind. Not sure how GB stadium is for wind, but they are looking at 18mph winds. Could disrupt the passing game which I don't like because I think that is GBs only shot. They are not going to run on SF.

Wow. That's so freaking cold. I don't like Seattle's odds if they had to travel over there.

Supposed to get -17 or so with wind chill in Chicago. Looks like I'm shopping for supplies tomorrow night after work and not coming out of my place until Monday.

If those forecasts hold up, I think the Saints are at a bigger disadvantage in Philly than the 49ers are in Green Bay. San Francisco may be on the west coast where it typically doesn't get that cold, and it's still a disadvantage for them, but at least they play outside a minimum of nine times a year where the possibility of inclement weather having an impact on games exists. New Orleans plays a minimum of 9 games indoors in a climate-controlled environment and at least two more games in locations that don't regularly have snow and/or sub-freezing temperatures. That isn't to say that they can't win in harsher environments, but given how that team is built, they're at a much bigger disadvantage in that kind of weather than the 49ers are. I guess we'll find out.

I live in northwest ohio and the low tonight is -4 and we just got 12" of snow with 30mph winds. We are supposed to get anywhere from 6" to 16" of snow Saturday night through Sunday depending on how the storm tracks. Could be near blizzard. Will be pissed if cable goes out.

Am just outside South Dakota now on I-90 and its minus 17 outside right now.

HFA is really "earned" starting in the divisional round. Kind of hard to say a team earned HFA in the wildcard round by lucking out and being in a weak division with a record of 8-7-1. I'm not complaining bc I get that's the way it's set up, but the term earned doesn't seem right.

I get what your saying....but on the same time, you earn atleast one home playoff game by winning your div

I'm loving the crazy weather it looks like we're gonna see in the games this weekend, should add to an already exciting weekend of playoff football. Very glad the Seahawks don't have to play in any of it.
