I thought I read that it passed all inspections. I know little to nothing about construction, but I would think the structural steel would have to pass inspection before they move on to other phases of construction.

All construction sites in the United States have inspections at many levels that must be passed in order to move to the next phase of construction. From the initial site plans and ground testing, to the footings for the foundation to the final screw that is put in to complete the building, all sites have city and state government inspectors to "supposedly" ensure that it is built to correct specifications and under the states laws and rules designed for governing construction.

Once that "inspection" passed, the inspector(and county) will be as much at fault as the construction company if something didnt get inspected properly. My guess is someone is not telling the truth.

One of the major differences between Longhorns and ags is that Longhorns can take a joke. I and all Longhorns always enjoyed the Rice band performance at halftime. My fav was them in an 'arrangement' which depicted 2 owls mating in a swamp.
