Well with Lee, and Hatcher out and a hobbled Ware, what else do you have who could be real quality starters. I'll give you Carr and maybe Carter. But beyond that every player is a question mark.

I think they are trying, but Jerrah has armed this team with a below average safety in Church and another safety who can't make a tackle or play until that last one and he mortgaged the future on Claiborne to make a splash in the draft and sell tickets, and a 30 year old Ratliff. Couple that with drafting two injury prone linebackers and hiring a defensive coordinator whose time had passed in today's passing NFL and BOOM!

Not talking about what Brees is doing, but Ingram, Sproles and Thomas shouldn't be gashing this defense like this.

I would like Church a lot more if he had a ball hawking safety opposite him. Maybe Wilcox can be that guy.
