Wouldn't see them until the AFCCC I think. Gotta beat Houston first. I think Indy takes Baltimore down anyways.

This is pretty false all the way around.

Look up the top rated games in terms of TV ratings this year......hell ALL TIME. You'll find out Dallas was in at least 6 of the top 10 games.

I did look up the highest rated games of all time as of 2010. The Cowboys are in one of the top ten - Super Bowl XII, back in 1978.

The NFL and every single advertiser knows one thing - The Dallas Cowboys on TV in any game is like printing money. NO franchise in NORTH AMERICA makes more money, gets higher ratings, and sells more merchandise than them - not even the Yankees.

The only sports franchise in the world more valuable is Man U. This is all verifiable fact.

I also looked up the most valuable franchises in the world - which is necessarily the most reliable barometer of interest outside the team's market, since it might include assets such as a billion dollar stadium, you know - and the 'Boys are tied for third with the Yankees. Not bad, and I'm certainly not going to split hairs over the difference between second and third when they are maybe 3% apart, but still. Directly behind them are the Redskins. Guess that means that last year the only quarterback under as much scrutiny as Romo was Rex Grossman?

EVERYONE cares about the Cowboys. You either love them, or hate them......but you WATCH them.

I can't honestly claim to speak for everyone in Minnesota. That said, I haven't seen many Cowboy jerseys, and nobody I know sets aside time to watch Cowboy games (unless they involve the Vikings, of course!), and the national segment of sports radio talks about them about the same amount as every other team in playoff contention (I realize they are out of the playoffs as of this post), and in general they seem like just another team.

And Tony Romo is the most scrutinized QB in all of football bar none, it's not even a debate. People don't even look at his numbers - if he isn't winning a SB, he's a bum.....doesn't matter that his stats alone are HOF worthy, and that only 4 QBs in the last decade have put up more TDs, yards, or QB rating.

I think you are confusing most unfairly criticized QB with the most scrutinized one. Romo takes heat for things which aren't necessarily his fault, and I'm not saying he's bad - in fact, I think he's pretty good, and I'd be happy to have him on my team over Vick. But he doesn't get a disproportionate amount of coverage on national media in my opinion.

My original point was that the Cowboys QB is not the biggest spotlight in sports. I still don't think that that is the case. I think another poster made the correct call in that it's about who has been good lately. The Cowboys have not been. I would also argue it's about who is surprising people with how well they've been doing versus expectations, a la RG3. That's not Dallas either. Dallas is a fine organization, but despite my personal loathing for them (E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!), they just aren't relevant enough to claim they are the most important in football on name alone.

Although not an all out meltdown, Romo certainly did what Romo does. Screw Romo and the Boys too. How can you Cowboy fans stand by this fucking bum of a QB? He has his moments.. but is a total choke artist in the big games. Not sure he can get Dallas over the hump. I think they said last night he is 1-7 in elimination games.

Hail! You are next Chickenhawks!
