Dak Prescott is throwing darts. Alfred Morris in beast mode. Lucky Whitehead looking good. Not bad.

I know this is just one drive and I don't mean to overreact, but this is the most competent I've seen any QB not named Tony Romo look in a preseason drive in a very long time. Pretty much all our back ups in the past preseasons have came out and looked like garbage. Prescott looked confident, collected, and delivered some nice throws. I hope he can continue to improve.

THROW UP THE X: Dak to Dez for 14-0 TD. Rookie Dak Prescott looked sharper on that drive than any Cowboy backup looked all of last season.

I hate Skip but this is 100% true.

The grade quickly dropped. But again it's only preseason.

So far this 1st quarter is about what I expect out of Dallas, with the exceptions of Dak's great start and the KOR for a TD. The offense can do serious damage and the defense makes me want to drink.
