when you make mistakes at work its your bosses fault ?

the players should be held accountable for their individual mistakes.

playcalling, clock management ... yeah, that the coaches.

But a guy jumping off sides or not getting set is just poor execution & that falls on the individual player

When you are not prepared to do your job, you better believe that is your boss' fault. That is their job. To make sure their employees are trained and have a productive work environment.
