He is supposed to play today, but it may be his last game for a while, maybe ever. Maybe the biggest waste of a career ever. At least Aldon Smith played a little before going for the weed and rocks.

Sources: NFL may discipline Gregory for relapse

I guess I will just never understand it. You work so hard most of your life to get to the NFL, just to throw it away. Just be strong for a few years. Earn that fat paycheck and then get high all you want for the rest of your life. Just dumb.

I have a feeling most of these guys didn't work hard. God blessed them with ridiculous physical attributes which means they got lucky. They probably coasted their way through school either getting passes from teachers or just getting shit grades, got laid by dozens of women, and destroyed basically every athlete they came up against in High School/College.

I'd say very few of these guys 'worked hard'. They hit the gene branch falling down the tree of life.

What moron and I have no sympathy for him. You are in a league that gives second and third chances and you get to make millions and you do this? Good riddance.

I really understand the fact addiction is a disease that is really hard for some people to battle... but if it is Marijuana I am struggling to understand?
Alcohol, cocaine, opiates... I get it, but weed?

Even then I don't get it because he entered rehab before. Yes addictions are a major problem but not many people have access to resources and the support system that Gregory had. His relapse is his own stupidity.

Obviously he was partaking in school.
I wonder if he used it to numb all the bumps & bruises in school & now that is his pattern. Or is it something he just parties with.

Rather see that in the NFL than all the opiates that team doctors prescribe.

Either way he is done now.

Yeah I'm a pretty big proponent of leaving weed alone, but when you know you have to be clean and have that kind of resources there's really no excuse.

I always thought you had to be both given the genes and been motivated to work your ass off. I realize that this isn’t always the case. Watching last chance u on Netflix is eye opening. The dt on the first season was a lazy piece of shit that didn’t want to do anything. Game time comes he completely dominated every frickin gm.

It's still not clear how true this is. Why it isn't, I don't know, but apparently it isn't.
