Waters need to be ready to play next week, if not Bernadeau gonna get Romo killed, if Free don't beat him to it..

I know it's a penalty for an OLman to block a DLman if the DLman is engaged with another player. I guess that same rule doesn't apply to the OLman being engaged. Free got blind sided by that LB while he was blocking the DE

I think I said that a it wrong. The OL cant go low on a DLman while he's engaged with another player. So nevermind what I said.

Don't miss him, but I have to admit the Saints defense looked good.

Keep in mind though, Rob Ryan's defenses have a track record of getting worse as the season goes on.

I can respect that point of view even though I do believe he's elite.......as far as Schmoopy's argument I think having Witten, and Austin should actually further open the field for Dez. because it should be more difficult to double down on him. Maybe my expectations for Dez are a bit inflated who knows it's just one game.

that's one way to look at it. but Witten Austin had 18 catches. If they are gonna double Dez & allow those two to get open, why even plan to pass to Dez as a 1st read? I wouldn't read to much into Dez only getting 4 catches. He still made this offense better.

If they overplay Dez and Witten and Miles make them pay, I don't care. Eventually defenses will have to be more honest.

exactly. & When they get tired of being burned by Witten & Austin & start adjusting for it, Romo can adjust & start throwing to Dez. It is an excellent problem to have non selfish receivers to choose from.

Besides by judging from the incomplete to Dez with 2 defenders right there has to convince Dez and the rest of us, Romo will not forget about him.

Eli's "luck" didn't do him any good tonight. His face was priceless, not to mention TC. Classic. Eli is a good QB, but I swear he's lucky as hell in the most crucial moments.

I'm going to add D Harris to that list. What a special teams ace he has turned into.

Special teams is the unsung hero of this game. We made a significant up grade from past years. Loved seeing the ball almost kicked over the goal post on kickoffs. It's demoralizing to the other team and when we didn't the whole gmen didn't get it to the 20. It's been so hard to watch them for the past several years, but last night showed a different attitude and a different team.
