Thats spin. It's a bottom line business. At the end of the season, look up the number of times we ran the ball anywhere near as much as we passed it. Then check our W/L in those games. This was a close game. Trying a 57 yard field goal with an 11 point lead was absurd. Gave them the ball on the 47 and basically gave them 3 points. Thats on the coach. Take away that 3, and even at the final gun it's a 1 score game. But we were too out of it to run the ball? Please....Look at our team in the second halves this year once the halftime adjustments are made. JG is getting tore up from the floor up
We had the best coach in the NFl today IMHO. We let him go, Sean Peyton.

If we don't run the ball effectively against Denver they win 44-24. If we can run the ball, move the chains, and controll the clock ....lol call me delusional we win lol 34-31 with a last second field goal.:peep:

How did we LET him go? He left to become a head coach while Parcells wad in Dallas.
Too bad dumbass Jerry didn't try and bring in that cancer Terrell Owens a year earlier. Parcells may have left earlier than he did and we might of have Peyton today.

Even if that was possible, I don't think Jerry wants to give up total control of football operations to someone that knows what he is doing in today's game that would make him look bad and take away his limelight.

I think Sean was signing with NO unless they completely blow balled him. I don't think we had a good shot at him. As for Manning there is no way we could fit him under the cap

and Bill sitting in New England is the best coach in football

Not only do the rings show it .... the amount of talent he had to work with proves it.

Care to compare Bradys receivers to Brees? LOL

Perhaps he saw it coming and decided to get out of dodge when he got an opportunity. I thought at the time Parcells was laying the ground work for Peyton to take over for him down the road.

He got out of dodge because he was hired to be a HEADCOACH. No other reason. If all he was offered was an OC he'd would've stayed in Dallas.
