I think it's the Brady/Tampa Bay effect, at least in part. Generally speaking there's nothing wrong with the NFL or more to the point, NFL owners. They have a better winning percentage than Vegas. Lately though some owners have defintely thrown caution to the wind.

Cousins deal is said to be the highest total value free agent deal in NFL history. How that works out if he's traded, cut or benched for a year I can't call it, but with 100 mill guaranteed and a 50 mill signing bonus Kirk n his agent have once again pimped the shit outta the game. According to sportrac Cousins has made a staggering 294,169,486 in his career. That 24+ mill per or NBA, MLB kinda money

Not to be outdone is Deshaun Watson with that 230 mill fully guaranteed contract from the Browns. And the Browns don't have any real grounds to stand on far as getting some of that back or do they? I was going to say that Atlanta looks like a genius compared to the Browns, but then again who doesn’t? At least their basketball team has turned things around without LeBron.

And I also am cynical in that I am not sure the women got much just because I feel every once in a while, someone always comes up Milhouse.

Is he done? It certainly is possible. Penix didn't help win anymore games than Cousins would have, but I am not here to bash Penix. Atlanta wanted Cousins and he wanted them. Why does Cousins have to retire? He could be Joe Flacco or Andy Dalton. He threw for 3,500 yards and missed three games. Had he made those last three starts against the Giants, Redskins and Carolina I would bet her he went for 4,000 yards for the year. Penix threw or 775 yards, 3 TDs and 3 picks.in The only game Atlanta won was against the Giants were they had 3 pick six TDs.
