I hope not. As much as I think we need to upgrade the WR corps, our defense is in shambles. If we use 2 picks on WR, that means we aren't addressing the defense again. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if we sign a WR FA and draft a WR, maybe even with our first pick. There are some stud WRs in the draft and if one falls to us in the 2nd, we have to take them.

As some of you know Chris Cooley is now a radio personality but he still has strong ties to the team. Yesterday he said "for sure the Redskins will get a WR via free agency." For whatever that is worth.

what if the defense is addressed in FA ? 2 picks in a draft for wr and the rest cant be for something else ?

now if we go into free agency and we dont do something with the defense then you have a point or we might look at the defense the following year

You don't really address the defense with picks in the 4th and below. You are just hoping to get lucky in the lower rounds and develop some talent.


Last year- drafted 2 safeties and a corner. We address the defense every year but one thing remains the same...Haslett.

this is a deep group of wrs in this draft . you can come away with a couple of good wrs and this is the draft to do it

I hope we dont draft 2 receivers!!! I dont care how deep this draft is.....our first couple picks cant be receiver...we have more pressing needs the wr...I am very confident we get that #2 receiver in FA...we have other competeten wrs to complete the corsp...we can use those picks on on more pressing needs....and even if they are late round picks.....You never know...you could get lucky...or...our coachs can coach them up.........if we go wr in rounds 4-7.....im ok with 1 receiver, but definetly not 2.....and I am sick of getting rbs as well...we are ok at rb...no more of them......I was sick when i saw we took 2 rb last year!!!
