For starters, the PI was bad and should have been called, no one is disputing that, even Hawks fans.

The "catch" was actually the right call, believe it or not, it was. People always try to say Jennings had "more" of the ball or "both hands on the ball," but neither of those matter in the rule book or take away from the fact that Tate had one hand on the ball (he actually stopped the ball from hitting Jennings in the facemask) from the time it touched either of them and had his left (dominant) hand on the ball all the way to the ground, which makes it a simultaneous catch, which goes to the offense and is a TD. If you cannot see that in video replays, then you are blind. I thought it was an INT when I saw it live on TV, but after watching replays, I could see Tate really did have a hand in there. This is why we won't admit it was a bad call, because it wasn't. It is just amazing that half the nation (or more probably) refuses to SEE video evidence that is right in front of them.

So you admit that the Seahawks won because of a bad missed call by the officials?

If you want to remove bad PI calls from the game, then Seattle wins 7-6 without the fail mary ever taking place. There was a horrible PI call that extended the only GB TD drive earlier in the game.

ill take it .. it was a good catch .. many have tried to dispute it but there isnt enough evidence to dispute it

I'm not disputing it either. I am just saying we may want to consider who God's team really is.

As I said, it's ok, really and truly it is ok, to say that the Seahawks got the benefit of a bad call. I promise you saying it won't retroactively take the win away from you.

4th and 29 conversion to stay in the playoff race last year.

70 yard last second TD to kill the Broncos in the playoffs.

61 yard FG that looked to be heading right and miraculously sneaks through the uprights to keep them in the playoff race, a week after another miraculous finish.

Numerous other amazing finishes that I can't even recall.

Is there some sort of divine intervention here?

I sure hope so, or they are some phenomenal players.....The Ravens are my favorite team and Jehovah is my favorite and only God, maybe there's a connection.....:think::think:

Just a little note to my old friends in Seattle.

I say old friends because I still remember the days of the old AFC West, back before the day when it was decided that the Seahawks were so bad, irrelevant, and useless that they could be moved to the NFC without anyone on planet earth giving 2 shits.

Now, I have no feelings about the Seahawks. If they're in the Super Bowl I'll probably cheer for them, because I like to think that the "defense wins championships" theory still means something. However, now that Seahawks fans finally have a team that is a true contender for the Super Bowl, they somehow feel the need to come into every single solitary thread on this board and try to steer it toward their team. I call it the "Hey look at me my team is finally relevant" complex.

You don't want to talk about the string of miraculous finishes in Ravens games? Don't open the thread.

Thanks.

Can't believe I am going to say this but I agree with a Charger Fan! The last few weeks especially the Ravens and a few other teams *Cough* Patriots *Cough* have gotten some nice calls. Now I will say they have taken advantage of those nice calls as they still had to make a play like kicking a 61 yarder to win the game but it definitely does make life a little easier when the refs decide to give a little extra help to one side. In the NFL when games are decided by a touchdown or less more than half the time the good call or bad call one way or another can definitely sway the way a game finishes.

and like this non call on the PI that cost the lions a td and the game

The shot on Flacco's knee is more of a call then this one imo.

I totally agree. The "no-call" on Flacco should have given us 15 ez ones... but when your name isnt Manning it dont matter I guess u dont get that call.
