4th and 29 conversion to stay in the playoff race last year.

70 yard last second TD to kill the Broncos in the playoffs.

61 yard FG that looked to be heading right and miraculously sneaks through the uprights to keep them in the playoff race, a week after another miraculous finish.

Numerous other amazing finishes that I can't even recall.

Is there some sort of divine intervention here?

The OP asks an interesting question and makes a strong case that the answer to that question is "yes". If Baltimore is in fact God's favorite team, however, doesn't that seem to call into question God's taste?

Says the Steelers fan...remember SB XL?

I've noticed this funny little thing about Seahawks fans, it goes something like this: Steelers fan mentions something about refs, Seahawks fan brings up Super Bowl XL, Steelers fan laughs and tells them to get over it already.

That's all well and good, but then this happens: Seahawks fan mentions unbeaten streak at home, Packers fan says it needs an asterisk because of the Fail Mary, Seahawks fan laughs and tells them to get over it already.

I just find that interesting.

Maybe not this year but the Giants 2 recent super bowl runs they had a habit of pulling wins out of their ass, every possible scenario playing out in their favor, every bounce going their way. Maybe God got bored with them?

Here it is. There is a BIG difference between a week 3 game that essentially meant nothing and the Superbowl, but everyone seems to want to say they are the same? Plus, the correct call was made in the GB game according to the rules. The SB? Not so much. When the head referee says there was problems, that doesn't look very good.

Even if you acknowledge that the correct call was made on the catch (which is EXTREMELY tenuous at best), everyone agrees that Tate got away with a clear offensive pi that should have been called (and the NFL admitted it should have been called), which means the correct call was not made on the play.

What I don't understand is why some people just won't acknowledge a bad call that went in their favor. In the Hochuli game against the Chargers, the Broncos got a bad call that went in their favor. In Super Bowl XL, the Steelers got the benefit of several bad calls that went in their favor. In the Fail Mary game, the Seahawks were the beneficiary of botched officiating that went in their favor.

It's ok to admit this. Really, it is. It happens to every team. The good teams overcome those bad calls. The bad teams? They don't. But I believe those sorts of calls tend to even out over the course of the season.

For starters, the PI was bad and should have been called, no one is disputing that, even Hawks fans.

The "catch" was actually the right call, believe it or not, it was. People always try to say Jennings had "more" of the ball or "both hands on the ball," but neither of those matter in the rule book or take away from the fact that Tate had one hand on the ball (he actually stopped the ball from hitting Jennings in the facemask) from the time it touched either of them and had his left (dominant) hand on the ball all the way to the ground, which makes it a simultaneous catch, which goes to the offense and is a TD. If you cannot see that in video replays, then you are blind. I thought it was an INT when I saw it live on TV, but after watching replays, I could see Tate really did have a hand in there. This is why we won't admit it was a bad call, because it wasn't. It is just amazing that half the nation (or more probably) refuses to SEE video evidence that is right in front of them.

Who to say the these are the works of the Lord? They could be the work of an evil diety. As a Steelers fan, that would be my guess.. Maybe the Ravens have made a pact with the devil.
