He really doesn't fit this offense. Plus his age and our depth in the backfield. I don't see how he sticks on the roster. You have to think the 4 Rb's are Guice, JD, Barber and Love. Im counting Gibson as a WR. For WR I got tmac, Sims, harmon, Gibson, Agg, and latimer.

Thoughts.

It will be ironed out in camp . Not a fan of JD and Gibson ‘s spot will be determined by what Isiah wright does at Wr . Not a fan of latimer either

I don't see JD getting cut. AP is going to need another injury from Guice to stick on the roster. Love should be ready by camp. Gibson has to be classified as a WR b/c the backfield is too crowded. So Wright and latimer battle it out for the last WR spot.

AP's status will all depend upon the health of his competitors. If Guice and Love both comeback healthy, then AP may, indeed, be in jeopardy. We are rebuilding. That rarely includes an aging RB unless you have no other options.

Let’s just hope AP is gone. That means Guice is healthy at a minimum. With Guice’s history, we need at least one more back capable of carrying first and second down. I believe Peyton Barber can do that and still be a receiving threat, so Love’s status is irrelevant. With any luck, Love is healthy and can be the backup to Guice; however, I do not see the point of keeping AP.

McKissick is ONLY a third down back, so we will see if he even makes he team.

Barber over McKissick as a third down back.

Gibson automatically makes the team. Call him whatever you want, but he takes a roster spot at either RB or WR...he is listed as a RB.

I agree. I like Barber too. He can do it all. But the Skins signed McKissick first before Barber. They must like him better. AP being cut doesn't bother me. If Guice can stay healthy all year that would be huge.

I don’t think signing somebody for the ultra cheap means you like him more. It likely means fewer teams were negotiating for his service or his expectations of salary were already met.

In a strange twist of fate, Adrian Peterson, in the last couple of years was seen as THE stabilizing personage on a struggling franchise. Now he could find himself symbolically, the face of stabilizing change and out of work.
