What do you think caused those turnovers?

A QB that couldn't hand onto the ball. Nevertheless OSU played a very good game last night and deserved to win.

USC's T.O.P. was 34.56, compared to OSU's 25.04. Since you brought up Hill fumble, I will bring up USC's 4 turnovers that led to 21 Buckeye points.

That has nothing to do with it. OSU went into shut down mode and turned into a punting machine after they took that 24-0 lead. That game was straight out of Jim Tressels playbook. OSU was the story of the night. Nothing Darnold could do.. OSU strength and speed on D were WAY too much.

Ohio State is a decent team and they dominated a deeply flawed SC team.

I looked at the stats of the game and USC's offense wasn't all that bad.

So nothing wrong with th O Line play? Nothing wrong with the running game? 4 turnovers is acceptable to you? OK then, I guess they were pretty good.

They weren’t at the beginning of the season to be fair. Their secondary was trash, they have vastly improved over the season

It happened because we dominated the USC OL. Darnold played the entire game having to constantly move around and dodge OSU defenders. That's not a reflection of his intelligence.

When Darnold had time, he did just fine. Hell, he passed for 356 yards. The problem was, he spent most of the game running for his life and having to hurry several of his throws.

There was holding by the USC OL on damn near every play in the game.

Lol...If they were, judging by the 8 sacks and multiple hurries/hits...they aren't very good at it.

No it isn't. Apparently, you know less about football than basketball. In order to read a defense, a quarterback needs experience and time during the play. Darnold doesn't have a ton of starting experience and last night, he wasn't given a lot of time to read the defense.

His lack of experience means he isn't going to see a lot of the disguises that a defense uses and his o-line didn't give him much time to work through his progressions or pick up the disguises after the play started. The problems the offense has last night fall squarely on the o-line.
