Coors Batch 19

I him-hawed quite a bit before trying this one

last summer mrs. wyo went to golden for a work conference and as an activity they toured the Coors brewery and she came home really excited to tell me about the pre-prohibition beer they were about to release


as a libertarian i love the idea of the anti prohibition attitude but as a craft beer snob i hate the fact that it says coors on the label


after getting it....it's (surprise--surprise) not a whole lot different than coors banquet......i would say that it a slight bit more robust but nothing special

honestly if i were going to a house party i could bring this and keep a straight face without everyone there giving me a funny look

In all fairness it is a lot different than Coors Banquet. Do a side by side comp, it isn't even close.

right....i was just hoping for something other than an "american lager"



if i had to choose batch 19 would win out every time and may find its way into my go-to rotation

I haven't tried it either.

The Silver Bullet is a pretty good maintenance beer to pound a bunch of though. Light on the stomach.

I checked their website and it says there's not any in Oklahoma.
