Congrats on the win 49ers and to the fans. Was a great game to the end. Matthews penalty killed us and two turnovers. But my goodness Boldin just assaulted (not as in OPI) and burned Tramon all day. On the road I was happy with our performance.

Nice win, hope we can play you again in the playoffs

:agree:

Congrats on the win 49er fans. You deserved it. Kaep to Boldin just absolutely killed the Packers D all game.

Not being like some other people and blaming things on that one call. Not at all why the Packers lost. It was the Boldin torching Packers secondary all day long. They just couldn't stop him today. He was a damn steal for you guys this offseason.

More exciting than I wanted it to be. Good game by both teams. That Packers' D is much more legit than they were last year. That run D was solid.

In fairness the ref's DID screw that play up, but since the Niners won by 6 I don't see that it matters.

yeah they screwed it up by calling staley for a penalty to begin with. He was the one who took a shot to the face from Matthews. He's allowed to run over and support his qb. It's amazing how nobody is bringing this up!

If I was a Packers fan I would be encouraged from what I saw from the defense despite all the yardage given up because they actually looked like they played with a toughness and physicality.

And man it seems like every game Nelson has at least two huge sideline catches for big plays.

what I like about the packers D is those 2-3 big guys in the middle. they will 100% be better at stopping the run

Yeah the Pack had a nice gameplan and decent execution. They came in and stopped the read option and the run pretty well. They wanted it turn it into a Kaep vs Rodgers chuck the ball matchup and they were able to dictate that.

Now if Mathews would have just shutup before the game, maybe they would have caught the 49ers by surprise with how well they defended the read option.

I wouldn't say they were able to dictate that matchup. I would say they took away the read option so the Niners decided to throw it all over them.

Saying the Packers dictated what happened with our offense today is like saying a defense dictates a short pass in a hail mary situation by rushing 10.

The Packer decision to sell out against the read option and Kaep, sorry, Kap [ame=""][/ame] running ended up killing them.

I think the Packers believe their best chance of winning is to force Kaep to throw it all over them, and anyways Rodgers is gonna throw it all the time anyways, and hence it was a pretty close game.

who knows, at the end of the season we might be in contention for home field advantage......and maybe against the Packers?
