If you dont know where the ball is and you contact the receiver before the ball gets there it's PI. What planet have you been on?

Then all a reciever ever needs to do is slow down while the ball is in the air and it's a penalty.

I gave you the reasons/differences, you can either accept it or not I guess.

And if the defender has no clue over what shoulder the ball is or if its short and he impedes or hits the receiver before the ball gets there it's PI. lol. What part of the defender never looked for the ball and doesn't know where it is do you not get? Both those calls were correct. If the defender looks at the ball and makes a play on the ball or theres some contact they will usually let it go. But if he's got his back to the ball he can't touch the receiver before the ball gets there,.

This isn't the NFL, and you keep trying to apply NFL rules to college football.

I gave you the link from an actual ref, not sure what more I can do.

lol. So a defender can have his back to the ball, never look for the ball and make contact with the receiver before the ball gets to the receiver ? yeah, I dont care what you posted its PI and it was called twice in the Rose Bowl game because it's clearly PI . Theres no face guarding call in college thats true but these DBs also made contact with the WRs prior to the ball getting there when they didn't even turn to see where it is. PI was called and it was correct.

I should not be surprised you are incapable of grasping the finer details that matter.

How about the 3 bad/missed calls that even allowed for that play to even happen?

The first was because of a bogus holding call that negated a huge catch. Dude got pancaked, pulled the defender down with him and got a holding call out of it.

If you are an offensive lineman and you get bowled over by a defender & pull him down with you, that is holding.

It was the opposite of that. The defender got bowled over and pulled the offensive lineman down with him.

They can also call holding if an offensive lineman lays down on top of a defender and doesn't roll off right away. If the defender was holding him there, that's altogether different; but the official has to see that to call it against the D.

Shit happens, I'm not one to complain about calls much. Sometimes they go your way sometimes they don't.
