Not sure if anyone is beating the Tigers, to be honest.

Angels-Cards would be a heck of a World Series, though. I think Dodgers-Tigers would be the one that would draw the most outside attention just due to the salaries and talent, though

Tigers are tough, but the Cards ain't going anywhere. They won't get past the Dodgers this time and may not get past the Pirates if they have to play them. Not enough experience. BUT DEWITT GOT HIS CHAMPIONSHIPS... lol Greedy fuck

If the Angels can get Hamilton back healthy look out. But don't overlook the Angel's pitching lately. And the fact that the AL West is the best division in baseball. Pujols may have a Big Papi playoff run.

He's ready

I think the 2 best teams are the Tigers and Angels. Usually when all things are equal in really good playoff teams, I like teams with big bats and great starting pitchers.

I think the Dodgers would need some near historic pitching to win a WS. It certainly could happen but we'll see

I had a redplectum once. Doc gave me a shot and some cream, good as new. Got it from a toilet seat. That's my story and I am sticking too it.

Cards won't beat the Dodgers again. I'll bet the house on it. And if Pittsburgh wins tonight (they are up 2-0), they will be 1 game back. The NL Central is pretty bad. The Cubs just rolled the Birds. Never count the Cards out sure, but they are limping into the playoffs and leading their division. Not your typical pennant race.

Wacha's injury hurts the Cards' chances IMO. Similar issues with the Angels, with Shoemaker ailing and Richards out for the season.

Richards may be out for the Angels, but there is a reason they have ran away and hid from the A's (even without Richards) in one of the best divisions in baseball.

This Angels pitching staff is sneaky good and with Weaver and CJ Wilson, along with Shoemaker and Santiago they are going to be a tough out. Hopefully Shoemaker is ok and Hamilton comes back soon and can get going. That's a lot of money on the bench.

Dewitt is a greedy bastard that will never win another world championship. He will sell the Birds in a few years. He and Moz are 2 shady bastards that need a good punch to the face.

He will continue to bring in good/average Free Agents to compliment his good pitching, sell out many games, make even more money and not sniff another ring. The only reason the Birds did anything last year was because of a weak NL and Wacha, but his arm is dead right now.

I love Matheny and Yadi, Waino... But that ass munch is going to get what's coming to him. And i'm gonna laugh.

Long term prognostication in baseball is completely pointless. See: Red Sox.

Unless you have 2 rings already and are a greedy fuck that's only concern is money from here on out. Not to mention the Red Sox spare no expense and sign big time free agents. Bad comparison.

And a Bad recipe.... it ain't going to happen for the birds under Dewitt anymore. Sorry.

Hope the birds win tonight or else they are tied with the Pirates. ;)

I've said it once and I'll say it again, LET'S GO O'S!

I believe that we're the team that I think is going to be overlooked by just about everyone, even though we've taken 4 of 6 from the Angels, 3 of 4 from the Nats and 2 of 3 from the Cards. And have done it lately without both Wieters and Machado and pretty much a no name pitching staff.

While the Angels played well to overtake the A's, the A's really only have themselves to blame. Since that Cespedes trade, their offense has really struggled, especially Moss, who has 2 HR and 9 RBI since the trade and is playing with torn cartilage in his hip. Oakland was 66-41 (62%) before the trade, 21-32 (40%) since. Angels were 64-43 (60%), and 34-19 (64%) since. The Angels stayed steady (with a little improvement) and let the A's fall away.

The O's are my second favorite team, since I live in Rochester, NY, home of the Rochester Red Wings, who were the Orioles' AAA franchise for most of my life ('60-'02, changed to the Twins in '03, and I still can't get myself to root for the Twins lol). I wish they could switch back.

Anything is better than their AAA team being stuck up in no man's land in Ottawa.
