Ah the life of a Boston fan. I understand completely. The postseason is far more important than the regular season. Were you bummed when the Celtics got bounced or did you not give a rats ass?

I enjoy the Celtics live, my Uncle from Maine has season tix... But I do not watch NBA at all. NHL and MLB, thats it.

Well that's more NBA than I'm willing to watch. When I was a kid I was a Sixers fan. Dr.J was my favorite player. Yes I know he went to UMASS. Yet growing up in SoCal I saw a lot of Lakers games on TV. Kareem, Magic, Wilkes, Worthy, Cooper, & the rest.

They CAN'T play basketball like that anymore. The players today simply aren't good enough.

I remember Barkley saying when he joined the Sixers after the draft everyone talked about DR. J., but the guy who made the Sixers go was Andrew Toney. The Mound Round of Rebound was right. When Toney had to retire due to foot injuries the Sixers never recovered.
