Jordan Ober is a Long Snapper from Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, NV. He's rated as one of the top 15 long snappers in the nation by Rubio Long Snapping (best LS guru in America) and projects to be a 4-year starter at the position. Ober has athleticism and a good release and will only get better according to Rubio, he has the largest "up side" of any of the Top 15 according to Rubio as well.
Some might scoff at the use of scholarship for a Long Snapper but that is a position on Punts and Kicks that you want nailed down. No one cares about the LS unless he screws up. Faulkenberry long snapped last season, and did okay, but reports were that as Coach Reed (ST Coordinator) reviewed film he didn't like how long it took him to deliver the snap which made him want to go after a LS this class.
Ober is the 20th known commit of the class, Darrin Paulo (4-Star OT) and Terez Hall (3-Star OLB) are two more the Huskers have a shot at come signing day. Wild-card is Adrienne Talan (3-Star LB).
