To be perfectly honest with you, I'm not sure what to make of this game! If everything holds to form this one should be a cakewalk for the guys in Burgundy and Gold, but when was the last time that a Giants/Commanders game held to form? Since I can't call it, here's what others are saying about this one!
Lorenzo Reyes: Commanders 17, Giants 7
The Giants put up a gritty performance against the Bills in Week 6 and the offense might actually be in better shape with Tyrod Taylor starting. Either way, Washington’s defense should bottle up New York, but the play I love here is the under, which has hit in five of New York’s six games so far this season.
Tyler Dragon: Giants 21, Commanders 20
There aren’t moral victories in the NFL, but the Giants’ performance against Buffalo should give them some confidence in this one. You never know what you’re going to get week-to-week from the Commanders. The Giants snap a three-game skid and get a close win.
Victoria Hernandez: Commanders 21, Giants 13
I wanted to have the Giants winning; I racked my brain to see if there was a way to justify the pick. But even if they do clean up one or two of the offensive mistakes from last week and have Daniel Jones back joining Saquon Barkley, their defense isn’t strong enough to slow down the Commanders, who have put up 20 points or more in all but one game this year. New York is averaging 11.
Jordan Mendoza: Commanders 24, Giants 17
Can the Giants offense finally get in the endzone? The Washington defense isn’t at the top of the league, so New York should finally break the offensive curse. But the Commanders offense is continuing to improve, so they get another road win.
Safid Deen: Commanders 24, Giants 19
Daniel Jones’ return from a neck injury looms in this one, but the Commanders feel like a more cohesive bunch after their win in Atlanta last week. I’ll take Washington on the road this week in this NFC East matchup.
