Everyone here who was around when Stephen Davis was playing in D.C, should, after reading this, have felt another grey hair pop out of their heads (and if you're bald, think nose hair or ear hole)

We dont know if we lost the trade yet. How can you determine that now?

i have stated numerous times how we lost the trade , we took on his whole salary , we gave up way too much to get him , we bid against ourselves again .

i would have never given up more then a 3rd or 4th for him

i dont see him as any better wins wise then MM MT TB or for that matter falco

IF he does win and get into the playoffs and Indy stinks that is not winning the trade? Who cares about the picks and money if he is a winner. Right?

Early 2022 playoff predictions per CBS Sportsline:

Commanders = OUT

Other teams discussed:

Eagles = win the NFC East
Colts = win the AFC South
Broncos = secure WC

The only thing I disagree with is the Cowboys not getting a WC. Everything is straightforward and spot on with what I think will happen. Colts upgrading with Ryan appears to be putting them in the conversation. Denver getting Russell makes them playoff contenders and dangerous.

Commanders simply don't have enough and the Wentz experiment will fail. 3 things that I want from 2022 to happen...in order:

1. Snyder gone
2. Rivera gone
3. Howell taking over as the starter

Everything else would be a cherry on top for me.

People dont know what to make of the commies, and thats why they think the worst. Rightly so.

Of course, a case could be made of the redskins winning ten plus games and steamrolling into the playoffs that - to me - seems as likely as missing the playoffs completely.

Wentz plays well, hits deep balls which keep defenses honest, the rb tandem pummels opponents, and the defense is kept fresh and gives up little big plays.

The "easy schedule" crowd will not like this article. Basically, everyone in the NFC East has the "easiest schedule in the NFL" now. In other words, the Commanders have NO advantage over any other NFC East team with respect to schedule. The Commanders making the playoffs due to "an easy schedule", has now been debunked. Unless 3 NFC East teams make the playoffs, the Commanders are out at this time. We are firmly behind the Eagles and Cowboys at this point, at least on paper.

Ease of schedule is more of an NCAA factor. We simply have no idea how good the teams we play will be compared from 2021 to 2022.

I said we played with 2 lbs most of the time b/c we were in buffalo nickel defense. That is why I wanted Hamilton in the draft to fill that role. I have said this numerous times.
