I thought he was going to be good!
its hard to call a 4th rounder a bust but he is a career BU at best which is what 4th rounders are usually

we should look at a few of these guys for sure
I agree.

Smart deals for young, healthy, talented players. I think we will strike in wave 2 after the big contracts are given. Generally, it seems the first 72 hours are nuts and then the smart deals get announced. Who knows.

Agreed!!

However, using that same reasoning, what do 5th rounders ultimately become?
(In a hushed voice...I'm asking because I have a friend who was drafted in the 5th round as a QB and I'm trying to tell him that I agree with your assessment concerning his career arc, while many others are insisting that we go into the 2023 season with him as QB1) :D

well right now who are our leaders ? the team is up for sale so i wouldnt think there will be any block buster deals this off season
Ron Rivera, Marty Hurney, Martin Mayhew, Jason Wright, Rob Rogers & Senior Leadership person Doug Williams. All currently employed and all with a job to do regardless of circumstances. As Bill would say, "Just do your job"!

This is spot on!!

Until the team is sold Dan Snyder is still the HNIC! They are all still getting paid to do the job and if they stumble upon a fairly good season their ability to gain work here or elsewhere could be extended.

usually they are BU's as well . exceptions to rules are always around . you gave charles the chance to start and he failed , if he pulled a roullier then you are happy , hopefully SH can pull a roullier and not a charles

We can sort of put to rest the idea that Scherff was let go for Wentz.

Although most of said all year "why don't they sign Flowers?" No one did. He didn't play a down in the NFL.

Can lightning strike twice ... in 1981 the Redskins put a very young and very good OLine together.

I don't disagree with this and insist that unless Washington gets a better option Howell must be given an opportunity to actually COMPETE for the job. So, now we arrive at the nub and the question must be asked... what do you believe Howell's odds are at becoming a Roullier instead of a Charles?
