"Turner’s style in the passing game since becoming a coordinator has been to lean on a handful of concepts and dress them up with various personnel groups, formations and motions to keep the defense from knowing what play is coming. This takes some of the burden off the quarterback, who has to learn a lot of different formations and motions, but once the ball is snapped, the reads stay very similar for him." It is a primary reason he could win three Super Bowls with three different QBs.

Anyone who knows anything about Joe Gibbs he did this same thing to win three SB titles. His offense was basic but he used motion to create confusion for the defense, also to get the defense to tip their hand.

Bullock's video's showed three routes. Of course there are many more but those three routes are attacking three levels in the defense. What Bullock did not talk about was option routes. Those routes are huge in every offense now. Receivers often have an option to run a different route as soon as the recognize the defense. When you are watching a game and here an announcer talking about "choice" routes that is what they mean.

Just my two cents I am a big believer in an offense that uses motion. As already mentioned it may make the defense tip their hand in their coverage as well as cause some confusion.

First video although Heinicke made a play he had three receivers open. They did not pick up the blitz instead releasing the RB to the flat. Bullock didn't mention Bates at all who ran an out and was open. The drag(sail) receiver was open but Heinicke would have had to stall tall to get that ball out or should have recognized the blitz and kept the RB in the backfield. The OL kept everyone outside enough that Heinicke could step up and run into the void the WRs vacated. Can't bitch, it was a positive play. He probably got more yards than a pass would have.

Humphries was the right read on the second video. No other receiver was clearly open. I think some poorly run pass routes and have to give the D credit. They did a good job.

4th round picks are typically BU's so i wont say bust as a player . they should have moved him to TE as a rookie

No, the mid rounds picks are usually players that build your team. Backups or not. We got nothing out of this guy. Its just another example how the draft is a crap shoot and even if you have alot of draft picks it doesn't mean you will hit on all of them. Just looking at the 2020 draft, Young, Gibson, Curl and JSW are the hits. Misses are both 4th round picks. Well Charles has a shot to make the team,. Ismael and Hudson are on the bubble right now.
