I need to see Newton a little more to make sure he's not a bust, but I'm slowly moving into the trade Allen at the deadline camp.

I hate that I just typed that.

A 1st, two 2nds, two 3rd's, and an extra 17m heading into next year is temping. It also has nothing to do with Allen's play either, more his age and this team's timeline.

Now if they can grab a #1 WR at the deadline, I think you roll with Allen and go try to have yourself a season.

It’s a long season and the rookie will make HUGE mistakes that cost games . But he has been playing well and so far coaches right
