Few things today made me thing of the old days.

We moved here in the summer of 63 so can't remember if I became a Redskin fan then or a year later. Different time, different media. We loved Sonny (64), Bobby and Charley (also 64.)

Perennial losers ..... didn't a have rivalry with Dallas then. Fans loved the team.

1969 ... holy shit we hired Vince Lombardi .... greatest coGiach ever .... two games over his first year then cancer took him.

1971 - George Allen gets to the plays 6 out of the next eight year.

Mayhew and hurneys resumes are not that impressive.

You need a coaching staff in place , you need to know what systems you are using etc
