Additional comment from Scott when asked what he thought Peters would do at No. 2 was .... well first Washington needs a lot of players, this isn't something that can be fixed in one or two years. First evaluate what you have and then find ways to acquire more picks because NO GM is going to hit on every pick.

The 49ers had Jimmy G and still traded a boatload for Lance. I think Peters values QB. Like Keim said, I'd be shocked if they don't go QB at 2.

Just listening to Hoffman interview Nick Wagner who covers the 49ers.

Not the first time I have heard this .... Round 1 and 2 they have been eh in the draft. Round 3 on Peters had found stars, not just players but stars. Wagner did say in 2017 were counting on getting Cousins.

He thinks Johnson is the No. 1 spot for HC with Slowik No. 2 in line.

I think the interesting thing in listening to these local (SF) guys talk about the Peters hire is how Josh Harris put together a team i.e. Bob Myers that almost insured Peters taking the job. Clearly Josh has been working behind the scenes for some time so he was off and running as soon as the season was over.

As a very long time Redskin fan when I think back I don't think I ever heard about a GM until Joe Gibbs was hired by Bobby Beahard. . Was George Allen the HC when guys like Riggins, Butz, Sweet Pea Roy Jefferson and many were signed.

Do I believe in a FO with a GM and HC work together. Yes, of course.

My comment ...settle down. No one here is a GM, HC or draft expert.

Have fun but there are no experts here.
