Yeah, short term IR. I think he'll be fine. Rolling around in my head if we absolutely need McLaurin week 1. Can we afford to sit him and give him another week? I know that sounds presumptive, but I like our chances next Sunday.

I don't think we need him week 1. I'd like to have him back after that.

Move Ron to the front office as Sr. Advisor only. Give EB the HC position regardless of how well we do this year. Simple. Fire everyone at seasons end not named Martin Mayhew. Don't need Hurney, Wright or any other cronies in here. Don't need that many layers between Harris, Mayhew & EB. Hopefully JDR stays on at DC.

Do you know JDR's contract status?

The only way RR survives as a head coach is if we win and EB doesn't get offered a head coaching job. I'm not sure on what the JDR contract situation is.

we should have a shot at the #7 seed. IF we go 3-1 in the first 4 that would be huge but 2-2 seems more like it.

3 division wins. Wins against Ari, Den, Chi, Atl, NE, and LA. Thats 9-8.should be doable for the #7 seed.

For the NFC? AFC yes. 10 wins is a lock for playoffs.

i just think with the nfc east and central teams you might need 10 wins to get in.all 4 teams were in contention in the nfc east till we lost to browns last year and most of the central was competitive.i think 10-7 would be a virtual lock for the nfc too.

ok, but why would the owner take away Howell's OC if we do well offensively this year? IF Howell fails and the team fails, I can see a house cleaning.
