And why would RR be?

lol. these guys want RR fired if we win a playoff game. Alot of messages about this. I thought I was the only one who thought he is safe if he wins.

Because winning 1 playoff game does not qualify Rivera for a franchise rebuild at all. You don't see anything beyond the field and that is your problem. We need leadership and correction on and off the field. Rivera is not qualified to do that and would be out of his depth.

Rivera the coach might be OK to stick around, however, Rivera the GM should not. Rivera is not a GM Dean and you know that. Historically speaking, is Rivera a good coach and good GM? You know the answer to that but you aren't seeing the big picture as usual.

You have to look at what is the norm and what is the outlier. Is making the playoffs and winning the norm or outlier with Rivera looking at his career? Is Rivera a talented GM that is capable of sustained winning? What has he done in the past 3 years to demonstrate that? He hasn't.

Our division rivals would love for Rivera to stick around as they have little to fear from our team while he continues to have complete power. Why does every major credible sports outlet rate our front office and GM as one of the worst? Why does every major credible sports outlet rate our head coach as one of the worst? What do you know that they dont?

Like gekoka said, you get an adrenaline rush when you feel someone might agree with you. It's expected at this point and sad. You aren't interested in the truth or reality, you are only interested in gaining followers and appearing to be right.

We must move away from the coach centric model but you refuse to believe that because it was show a lack of confidence in rivera. You are incapable of doing that or looking objectively at the situation. Like wentz, if Rivera would have let go, he would be out of the league.

RR is going into the season with a new owner on board . of course his job is on the line and hence he should be on the hot seat . i cant see how anyone would think otherwise

I laid out my thoughts in my rebuttle to deans typical response.

This organization must be cleansed. Snyder hand picked Rivera to run the entire show. I want almost everything associated with snyder gone. We need a leadership reset. I am not talking about trading every player away, I am talking about the coaches and front office. We need a GM and president who will clean up the image, business decisions, public perception, team strategy, and reconnect with the fans.

If you literally believe that Rivera checks those boxes and has that experience, I can't help you. This is much bigger than a simple playoff win, it is cleaning and rebuilding a front office that had not existed in almost 25 years. If you want a historically mediocre to bad coach to lead this undertaking, you have a myopic view of the situation.
