Because it's been stated and I think he is a better version of Orlando Brown
Can you show me where it has been stated? I have seen him as a RT.

While he never played left tackle for the Ohio State football team, he has the physical skill to do so. Jones is extremely athletic and has great footwork. Now that teams know his reach, he very well could slide over to left tackle even though his best position is right tackle. Can you show me where it has been stated? I have seen him as a RT.

Ohio State Football: Dawand Jones makes Senior Bowl history
Former Ohio State football player Dawand Jones is at the Senior Bowl to improve his Draft stock. He just made Senior Bowl history.scarletandgame.com
He would be a massive upgrade over Leno and I believe he is a better version of Orlando BrownWell, at least you read it somewhere, even if it does say his best position is RT. I would prefer an actual LT after signing Wylie than a hopeful one.

Keim's pod from today.
Skins are basically done in FA. Will wait until the third wave.
A name to watch at LB is the Chargers Drue Tranquill who led them in tackles last year.
Skins feel like they brought Logan Thomas back too soon and think he has a chance to contribute next year. They like the group they have. I know they scouted a bunch of TEs at the combine, but that's what Keim said.
They don't want to go down the path of renegotiating contracts. Mentioned Logan and Leno as guys they didn't want to renegotiate.
Said if they need money they may just cut Roullier or renegotiate with him.
Mentioned they signed Larsen and said Gates really wants to play center. Me speaking.......kinda feels like they think they are set at oline except maybe at LG. I could see a trade down for Torrence (me speaking)
Also said they wouldn't want to renegotiate with Allen seeing as they just gave Payne a lot of money. (Fear of pissing off Allen's agent)
Keim did say Allen was good with Payne getting more money than him, was happy for him, and understands the business of it.
Mentioned McKinnon as a possible replacement for McKissic but will let the market play out.
Charles ,Norwell and Roullier (restructure ), need to go and we need to draft o/line early and oftenI agree with you on the oline that LG is the major hole right now. Torrence will fix that issue. Sounds like TE will not be addresses in the first 2 rounds of the draft from what Kiem is saying. Still we could get a decent one in rounds 3 and 4 b/c of this year's depth.
AS far as the oline goes right now from left to right: Leno, Norwell, Roullier, Cosmi, and Wylie. Backups: Lucas, Paul, Gates, Larsen and Charles. I cant believe Norwell is going to survive this offseason. If pick #16 or 2nd round is an olineman, someone has to get released. If its and OT will Lucas be released? If its an OG who gets released?
Drue Tranquill is a stud and would be a great pick up. Barton and Tranquill would be a fine haul in free agency.Keim's pod from today.

I just can't see Norwell being on this roster in September. Could be wrong. Tranquill would be nice. A lot of mixed reviews on Barton so far. Heard out of his own mouth that he struggled early last year.Drue Tranquill is a stud and would be a great pick up. Barton and Tranquill would be a fine haul in free agency.
Meant to say Leno instead of Lucas.I just can't see Norwell being on this roster in September. Could be wrong. Sounds like Gates will be the starter and Larsen will be backing him up.
Hopefully Latu will still be there at 97, but it does sound like they feel they are good at TE. If the pre Raiders injury version of Logan comes back I'm good. This is reportedly one of the best TE classes though.
The fact that they don't even want to renegotiate with Lucas tells me there is a good chance he our starting LT next year. Could be wrong.
They don’t want to renegotiate with people because they don’t see them here in the future. They don’t want to push salaries of today off until future years. It is smart for our current situation.Meant to say Leno instead of Lucas.
Smart for sure and Keim stated that, but there was no mention of them being released either. They don’t want to renegotiate with people because they don’t see them here in the future. They don’t want to push salaries of today off until future years. It is smart for our current situation.

Gates was quoted as saying he really wants to play center. Couple that with Keim saying it's gonna take a paycut for Roullier to come back feels like Gates is penciled in as the center. You mean Gates the starter at center of LG? Roullier is still here.

If Roullier does come back and Gates slides to LG, we may be done with the o line and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
